From Craft to Concept

As a multi media artist, Stern works with the materials that serve her conceptual work. Other experts, makers and artisans often lend a hand in the process. In recent years Stern traveled to studios throughout the country in order to use specific tools or work with other makers.

Certain projects require more than one set of hands and assistants and Interns have been supporting production in various ways.

The New York studio is located in East Harlem. Visits are welcome by appointment only.
